Managing Sponsor Relationships

Once we have introduced a sponsor to your club we will work with both parties to make sure that the relationship is mutually beneficial. However, to succeed in the competitive environment of local marketing the club must deliver on its promises. This means that we ask you for one, or at most two, permanent contacts who undertake to administrate the sponsor requirements at the club. The devil is in the detail and we don’t want a hard-won relationship to fall because posters weren’t put up or banners went missing.

We ask the club to take its responsibilities seriously. Failure to do this will only mean that the sponsor won’t re-sign for the next year. One you become a partner with RTM Sports Marketing you will be supported by the Account Manager who negotiated the deal and their Administration Assistant. This latter person is crucial and they will be on the end of the phone to answer your queries and requests. However, please remember that once you take the sponsor’s money it is your responsibility to implement the agreed programme.
